How long does the installation of a remote car start take?
Typically the installation is completed in less than three hours with some vehicles
in as little as an hour. We do ask that you make arrangements to drop off your
vehicle for the day, so our techs don't feel the need to "rush the job". We
appreciate your understanding this during the busy remote start season.
What should I bring with me when I drop of my vehicle?
We ask that you bring two valid ignition keys for your vehicle. Many of the interface
modules require two keys at the time of programming / installation of the remote
auto starter. You will receive both keys back.
I have a chip in my key..can you still install a remote start?
Autosport Plus is trained to handle these types of vehicles, and specializes in interfacing
with your factory anti-theft system for a seamless remote start
installation. There is additional parts and labor involved with these vehicles.
I have a diesel truck with glow plugs. Can you install a remote start on my truck?
Autosport Plus has a huge truck customer base, and we have found the best

I have a standard shift vehicle. Can you install a remote start?
Yes, and safely too! Our systems require you to go through a sequence before the
remote start will engage. This sequence allows for a safe start every time.
I purchased a remote start from one of those big box stores. Will you install it?
NO. Autosport Plus puts an extensive amount of research, training and time into making
sure we are installing ONLY quality remote starts for our customers. We
will not devalue this by installing other products.
